i use alsorts lol i add lobster eggs, micro plankton, cyclops etcmfor my corals also just read they like thngs such as mysis ect if they can catch them.

Do you use any thing like coral food or add copepods? It could be feeding off of those sort of things. Maybe your just lucky  Smiley

I dont have any barnacles but i have loads of tunicates and sponges and these are filter feeders too
i have lots of these too but everywhere i have read says that barnacles normally just die due to starvation and rarely survive and in all the tanks ive had ive never seen these.

i noticed in my tank the other day something growing which i hadnt noticed before and after doing a bit of noseying around the net im pretty sure they are barnacles.
it says they rarely survive in the aquarium and normally die of starvation due to them being filter feeders,
but these seem to be thriving they have covered one side of a piece of live rock and are now starting to grow up the glass on the back,
i cant get a pic as my camera is rubbish.
has anyone else got these in there tank or had them and if so have they had any problems with them taking over tank covering corals etc?Huh??
